The Danish airline SUN-AIR operating as a British
Airways franchise partner takes over the Manchester - Gothenburg service as from the
27 August with 11 weekly return flights.
“As a direct consequence
of demand from both British and Swedish business people for a direct connection between
Manchester and Sweden’s second largest city Gothenburg, we have decided to take
over this route.” says Commercial Director Kristian Tvergaard.
Tvergaard continues: ”We believe that the route has a lot of potential as there
are several British-owned companies in the Gothenburg area, and the UK is one of the
regions top ten trading partners. Furthermore we have more than 20 years of experience
flying to both Manchester and Gothenburg, and therefore we have great knowledge of

is also a very attractive tourist area as there is a rich cultural life and only a
short distance to beautiful Swedish scenery.
The route will have a morning
and evening departure on all weekdays as well as an evening departure on Sundays,
which makes it easy and comfortable to go back and forth on the same day. The route
